Cassandra is a recording artist from Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.
She is mentored and advised by accomplished Nashville songwriter and artist developer Kris Bergsnes (Tim McGraw, Wynonna Judd, Justin Moore, Tyler Farr, Randy Travis). Cassandra has written over 120 songs with acclaimed writers such as James Slater (Grammy-nominated; Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, Enrique Iglesias), Chris Boardman (six-time Emmy Award winner; Barbra Streisand, Céline Dion), and Bobby Hamrick (Tim McGraw & Faith Hill, Luke Bryan, Kira Isabella).
After graduating from high school, Cassandra was hired by Royal Caribbean Cruise Line as a lead singer aboard Independence of the Seas. Alongside large-scale production shows, she performed regularly as a lead vocalist in the Jazz Lounge and on the Royal Promenade with a live band, touring throughout Europe and the Caribbean for nearly a year.
Following her return from touring, Cassandra wrote and recorded “Bring It Home” for CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada SongQuest and was featured on multiple Hockey Night in Canada broadcasts, reaching audiences of more than six million viewers. She has also appeared on national television programs including Good Morning Texas.
One of Cassandra’s favourite performances to date was a duet with Keith Urban during his Raise ’Em Up Tour, performing in front of nearly 24,000 people.
In addition to her recording and touring career, Cassandra has built an extensive résumé as a professional national anthem vocalist. She has performed the National Anthem at more than 100 notable sporting events across North America, spanning leagues including the NFL, NHL, FIFA, MLB, MLS, NBA, and WNBA, with appearances that include NBA Playoff games. She has also opened for KC and the Sunshine Band, as well as Canadian country artists Aaron Pritchett, Kira Isabella, and David James, and sang background vocals on the Texas #1 hit “Restless” by Jake Ward.
Her music video I Love Christmas has garnered over 1,000,000 views on YouTube. The single has accumulated over 300,000 streams across platforms and received international radio airplay, peaking at #1 on the Euro Indie Chart. Cassandra continues to write and release new music, with new releases currently underway.
